Well, where should I start...!

As parents of two young children, passionate about dance and music but never got an opportunity to explore it ourselves during our childhood, we were exploring avenues for our kids to learn, become confident and tune to our roots via. music and dance.

They say when you truly wish for something, it comes true. So, it did. We chanced upon JRDA and got introduced to Jeya and our lives changed from there on.

Jeya is such an inspiration. You can find a lot of good dancers/teachers, but you seldom find a teacher, who is humble, has such a huge passion for dance, but above all puts his students above everything. My kids and the other students address him as "Jeya Anna". We are all one big family, thanks to Jeya and his wonderful team.

My daughter, son and wife attend the weekly classes at JRDA. My daughter, despite her busy schedule at school, will not miss a class.  My son, was very shy and less confident to dance. Thanks to Jeya and Sampath, he has developed such an interest in Tamil and Hindi music and dance and is always the first to enter and last to leave the dance floor now.

The annual show, stage performances and competitions that our kids participate as JRDAians, have given them a platform to showcase their talents, helped them to grow stronger and confident.

I would strongly recommend JRDA for anyone looking to explore Indian dance and music. Given, the medium of instruction is English the classes are accessible to everyone regardless of age and ability. Jeya's inspiration will do the magic.

JRDA is the best dance school. My 3 daughters are very happy there. The teachers are great. They are very good at making sure all children get a chance to shine not just the talented ones. My daughter has been a student here for over a year now. She thoroughly enjoys it and the classes are excellent. The teachers handle the children really well. In just one year, she has made significant improvements and even had the opportunity to perform in the annual show, which we all loved. My daughter is learning in JRDA and she is thoroughly enjoying there.  Like all students she too loves Jeya as he is very calm and he teaches all his students in a fun way where they all feel comfortable with him. His choice of songs are varied (mixture of old and new) and the choreography is really good.  There is always something fun and new to learn for her!

My kids have been attending JRDA since the beginning of 2024 and the instructors are not only talented but also really patient and encouraging, helping my children build confidence and skill. They have learned so much and have come a long way thanks to JRDA and the kids have really been enjoying it. Jeya Raveendran Dance Academy

Where and how can I start the wonders of JRDA. It was a great experience for me to form a group of students at Southend on sea  to bring this amazing dancer in feb 2019 to teach my son Danoosh dancing when he was 14 years old. It was a challenging for our team to take part in JRDA performance, which was held in June 2019.

After couple of years it was a great fun and an adventure for us to travel from Southend to london for the lessons every week.

I'm very proud to say that my son won a cup for city University and been awarded as the best male dancer for that event in 2024.

JRDA is not a team of dancers but they are a group of family.

I'm very proud that my son is also a member of the JRDA family.

A huge Thank you, jeya, for organising this academy where our children learn dancing at the same time they learn to respect each other, well mannered and disciplined and they learn their tradition, culture and language. JRDA means a lot to us as my son Arjun absolutely loves this dance academy and of course Jeya Master too. He joined this academy when he was 5 years old and since then this has been his favourite thing to do. He’s been going there for 2 years now and not only his dance but also his confident level has boosted up a lot.
Jeya and his team makes these dance classes enjoyable and fun for the kids. Jeya has a very special personality that all the kids absolutely loves him. I am so grateful that Arjun is part of this  team and thank you so much to Jeya for giving Arjun many great opportunities for him to grow his talent ❤️
